Three more members of the Homer Charter Association have been elected to seats on the Homer Fish and Game Advisory Committee.
Cory Loos and Cory DeCook earned seats on the 15-person committee during a meeting held January 9. Josh Wickboldt will serve as an alternate. Each person will serve a three-year term starting in June 2024.
The three join Tom Hagberg on the committee. Hagberg is a long-time Homer charter operator who has served on the Advisory Committee for about 20 years.
The Homer AC meets monthly during Alaska Board of Fisheries cycles, participating in both fisheries and game management issues. Areas and issues under its purvey include Game Management Units 7 and 15, Cook Inlet-Resurrection Bay finfish, and Cook Inlet shellfish.
A full member roster and information about upcoming Homer AC meetings can be found on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game webpage.
