Homer, Alaska is home to the biggest charter fishing fleet in the state. Anglers from around the world come to “the end of the road” for a chance to reel a flat fish (halibut) that could weigh more than they do!
The Homer Charter Association is a non-profit organization representing charter owners and operators in Homer, Alaska. Part of our mission is to be stewards of our nature resources to ensure they’re available to enjoy for generations to come.
The HCA takes a hands-on approach, advocating for responsible policy and fishing regulations at the North Pacific Fisheries Management Council, International Pacific Halibut Commission, Alaska Board of Fisheries, and others.
We work with stakeholders inside and out of our industry to promote the best possible outcome for our fishery and the businesses and communities that rely on it.
